CRANE Valve Services:

The CRANE Valve Services business unit is a part of the Fluid Handling segment.  CRANE Valve Services provides valves, valve parts, valve testing products, and valve services to the Nuclear Power Industry.  In addition, CRANE Valve Services supports replacement valve parts and like for like replacement valves for certain CRANE brands in the fossil power, oil production/refining, petrochemical, chemical, pulp/paper, marine, and water/wastewater industries.

CRANE Valve Services provides exact OEM replacement valve parts for the CRANE, Chapman, Pacific (Pressure Seal and Bolted Bonnet), Aloyco, and Flomatics brands from our Bolingbrook, Illinois operation.  For most valves, quotations are developed by referencing the original bill of material and drawings from the time your valve was originally built.  Our 5,600 square foot vault contains tens of thousands of original drawings, bills of materials, material specifications and processes.  These documents and files date back as far as the early 1900’s (sample shown at top).  This enables Crane Valve Services to provide quality commercial-grade parts to the original design tolerances and material specifications.

CRANE Valve Services began using Six Sigma in 1997 and Lean in 2000 to drive continuous improvement.  Using Lean tools, we established a cell based operation with the ability to provide QuickshipSM replacement parts in less than seven days.  We continue to invest in people, process, and equipment to enhance support to our customers.
